Physical disability makes life difficult but disability of the mind destroys life. Many people with physical disability and a healthy mind make the best of their lives and many do great things and blessings others. A mind with disability believes life is not worth living and nothing good is possible. Either someone told them they are not good enough, or can’t make it and the mind believed the lie and held onto it. This person may have dreams in their heart, great talent, healthy body but yet living a miserable life because their mind does not match the rest of the person. The heart knows you’ve got great destiny but the mind holds on the lie that you can’t and great things are not meant for you. The good news is; there is solution for the mind with disability and we have control over the solution. CHANGE YOUR MIND.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Roman’s 12:2 NIV).
