I have been looking forward to this moment for the last about 18 years. A year later, a prophesy in relation to this vision. I praise God that no matter how much we go through, no matter how much our lives chance, no matter what our circumstances are, He remains faithful to His word in due season. It was in 1998 that God placed this vision in my heart concerning orphans and abandoned. That vision has remained burning in my heart through all my changes and circumstances. Over years, the vision became clearer. Cut long story short, November of 2014, I put in resignation from my chaplain position, last day of work being March of 2015; to pursue the affairs of this vision among others. What was meant to take three months to register took two full years. At last, we are registered charitable non-profit in Minnesota and non-governmental organization in Kenya to enable easier operation. We are a total of 14 plus 2 non-voting board members at present. We are a total of 14 plus 2 non-voting board members at present. We are a public organization and all people who donate get tax receipts. In the two years of the struggle with registration period, I have completed 4 books including Nate’s. Three are published and one in progress. I praise God for His suddenly moves because I had no plans of completing 4 books in two years among other undertakings. My dream to write and author was since high school. Although I have always journaled, I didn’t have a clear plan until it happened. God is full of surprises! I plan to continue writing at a slower pace moving forward.
I am now ready to find a job cos I am mighty broke😊, while I wait upon God. It is tough to be a new author especially with a lot on plate. I am trusting God not only for our life as a family but also for the vision.
The board at CHCM would appreciate a lot of prayers, partnership and support. We plan to open our first home for orphans and abandoned children in Nkubu-kenya summer of this year. If we can save one life, our life is worth a living. The more children we can keep from streets and raise according to God’s Word and love, the better the future for our children, countries and world. You too can become part of this great vision. Donation can be done through our website. It is a unique vision. For more information about this ministry and how you can partner, please plan to join us on Friday, April 28 at 6:00pm to 9:00pm for our first annual Gala. The invite is attached. Meanwhile, please check out our website for more information and to purchase your ticket. www.citysheartcryministries.org Please pass information and help invite a friend.
