There are things we desire to do or have that are bigger than our current circumstances. Often a time, we try to put those desires aside or try to not think about it because it seems impossible. We find any reason to why that would not work. However, it is a positive desire that keeps alive in your heart no matter how hard you try to kill it, think twice. Instead of reasoning it out, pray about it. Ask God why there is that burning in your spirit that does not make sense to you. Ask Him what you should do about it. Position yourself right by doing your part to give God something to work with.
2 Chronicles 20:17 (NKJV)
17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you,…”
Do you have something in your spirit that you desire and wish you could have in your life but your circumstances tell you can’t? Dreaming is seeing something in your heart that is attractive to you and that you desire to have. Those positive dreams are placed in our heart by God because His desire is to see us blessed. Every person, has a dream that stays somewhere within us and how we respond to it is what makes the difference.
To change your life from your current to your desired position, you need to do certain things. To start with, you need to know where you desire to be clearly. A single mother of two child was working a low paying job while she raised her children. She desired to live better and provide better, as well as work less in order to spend more time with her children. However, her circumstances constantly screamed at her that she couldn’t. Those she shared her desire with that knew her couldn’t see how and they discouraged her. But she was aware of her unchanging desire deep in her heart so she decided to do something about it and it worked.
To succeed in changing your life for the better, you will need to be prepared to do things most people won’t do for a short period, in order to live the rest of your life in a way most people can’t. You may think your circumstances are too low to get lower but you will need to sacrifice with a clear goal in mind. It might mean working hard and sleeping less for a period, it might mean cutting down your social time or changing your feeding habits. Be willing to do what you need to do to get where you want to be.
Be careful who you share your dreams with. Sometimes, not sharing at all works the best. Remember Joseph shared his dream with his brothers and they sold him away instead of celebrating his dream. Others, when you share your dream with them, they run with it while they do everything within their power to hinder you. Many things can go wrong in sharing your dream with the wrong person and many times, we don’t know who those wrong people until it’s too late. But even when that happens, like Joseph did not give up, do not give up. God will eventually complete the good work He begun in you
Most of all, stay in prayer because God’s guidance will get you to your destination faster and more smoothly than you can ever get yourself. Our circumstances might seem limiting but our God has no limits to what He can do with your life if you depend on Him. There is no dream that is too big for God make a reality in your life. Isaiah 55:8-9,
“8For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. 9″For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.” (NIV)
This is a wonderful piece of work. I have two other people in mind to get the book to. One has a one year old with health issues. This will inspire her greatly. By Lucy K.
Every day brings its own. We can wake up every morning and be busy all day long without looking for something to do. The question is, what do we choose to do each day.? How do the things we do all day long move us forward, backward or not move us at all? What do we want to see happen in our lives? How important is what we want?
The greatest priority you can have is making God the center of your life. Once you make Him your greatest priority, He will guide you into all truth which is important for everything else you do with your life and your time. Make it a deliberate priority to seek Him every day. If you don’t make it intentional, many days will be too busy for you to seek Him as much as you desire. And the more you don’t seek Him, the more busy life seems to get and the more it wears you out. But Seeking Him reveals His heart to you which shows you what to do and what not to do. Once you do the thing He shows you to do, you will find success as well as joy. Likewise, consider every area of your life and make priorities based on what is most important for the growth of your life, those you love and most of all, for the glory of God. Worry will keep you busy without much purpose. God’s peace will brings you fulfillment of heart and life.
Matthew 6:31-33, “31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Very Inspiring, especially your son’s condition and how you coped. You really have been through a lot, but to me that’s a making for ministry to others. Keep up the writing.

Listen at the end of this post. This interview took place right after an attempt by the enemy to make it not happen. Warfare follows us whether we recognize it or not. Something happened with my 5 year old child that made me consider cancelling this radio interview the very last minute. God’s spirit right there and then impressed in my heart that was what the enemy wanted. I there and then received grace, prayed and went into the interview with my blank mind due to the confusion that had taken place. I trusted God again… He is faithful!
