They say that communication is two way and that is my hope for this blog. I will be sharing thoughts on different topics of faith and life in general. My hope is to provoke some thoughtful conversations that will help all of us continue to grow together in our journey of faith. I also welcome questions as well as answers from others. Welcome and lets learn together as well as encourage one another to get better with each passing day.
Those who have read my first book, “Knowing and Yielding To The Voice That Counts” are welcome to share thoughts as well as ask questions on any subject that has inspired you.
With the year 2015 coming to an end, it seems a great time to reflect back through the year as well as plan for 2016, prayerfully. I like to remind myself that there is nothing I can do to change what has passed but I can do something to determine the outcome of my tomorrow. I reflect back to learn from my past as well as give thanks to God for all He has done in my life. I like to look at the possibilities tomorrow holds hopefully. I like to review my priorities e.g., time spent in seeking God through scriptures and prayers, time spent on my children as well as husband, family, friends etc. I pray that 2016 brings you all the peace, joy and all good things that God intends for you and your loved ones. psalm 23:1-3, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness, For His name’s sake”
As the new year begins, I like to think of what changes I can make to improve my life and that of those closest to me. One of my 2016 intentions is to take better control of time. I am evaluating where I have lost time and thinking how best to spend it. One of my changes is to sleep in good time to wake up more rested and ready for the day ahead. How about you?
